Whitehead, Carrickfergus BT38 9QR, UK
Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland BT38 9QR

Lovely small station along the route from Larne to Belfast.Ticket office (limited hours - buy tickets from the Guard on the train) - Platform 1, Belfast Direction.Accessibility - you need to be on the correct side for your platform.Lovely helpful staff.Car park - free, limited places, but we had no problem. A limited number of places for Disabled Parking. Outside the Belfast direction Platform (Chester Ave).Waiting room and toilets (Chester Ave side).Bus service on the direction to Belfast (Chester Ave).

One of the nicest stations on the Translink network, an excellent example of Edwardian engineering, built by renowned engineer Berkley Dean Wise. Good buildings and adequate services. The train station is situated in the heart of Whitehead giving easy access to the town. Whitehead has a big commuter population travelling on a daily basis to Belfast. All trains to Larne stop here and trains, on general arrive twice an hour during peak times. Reduced service on Saturday and Sunday.
