Good parking place. Very easy to drive past as the entrance is a bit hidden. Turn at the church and drive back slowly if coming from the Carrickfergus side.
Gravel car park tucked away next to Woodburn Presbyterian Church, marked as 'angler's car park'. There is a gateway in the corner that leads to the forest where numerous trails lead you on interesting walks, ideal for dog walking. Please be aware horses are ridden through the forest, dogs should be on leads as they pass for everyone's safety. There are three large reservoirs that can be walked or run around, presenting interesting routes. The trail to the middle dam (from this location) can be traversed with a wheelchair though it will not be easy. No toilets. Fishermen will enjoy the waters, which are regularly restocked with rainbow trout.
