Great service, excellent staff, tasty food and brilliant views. Shame some of their clientele are a bit bolshy!
Went to watch the rugby n have something to eat.... Food was lovely. Such a different experience from last visit during summer.
Food is a bit pricey but the ambience is beautiful
The Windrose is certainly a nice setting, with comfortable seats and good screens for sports. Sadly our food experience wasn't spectacular. Three overcooked ribs for 5.65 and 4 wings for 5.25, followed by a dry Windrose Works burger. The triple cooked chips didn't seem cooked more than once. As for the rest of the party, there were menu choices not available - which we only found out after ordering. The bar was not stocked adequately to offer the full menu of drinks cocktails, with no lime and ginger available.That being said, there were decent flavours from the food and the staff were friendly and attentive.Came back a short while later and ordered a drink, only discover that they were out of stock.
